dc.descriptionIn this article we present for the first time the study of a new site with rockart: Eaves DЗsovich. This, expands the registry from the graphical representations on rock already known for the valleys of the Mayo river and one of its tributaries the Guenguel (southwest of the province of Chubut, Argentina). By means of the detailed descriptions of each motivethe corresponding photographic survey and its cataloging is intended to carry out not only the inventory but also its rescue given that- due to different kinds of phenomena - the deterioration of them is increasing day by day, in some cases to the total loss. In second instance, and in order to unravel the problematic of the cultural universe of the area under study, the relevance of the application to the identity analysis the concepts of “identity” and “micro identity” (Kottak 2011) is discussed. Rock Art as part of the material culture allows access to the symbolicideological world and distinguish identities at macro and micro-ethnic scales (regional and local, respectively), as well as approaching the identification of possible authors (Apellániz 1980; Amaya 2014). The viability of recovering some of the meanings of the parietal expressions is explored by taking sources contributed by aboriginal interlocutors and by archaeological, historical and ethnographic bibliography. Likewise, rock art is contextualized to other cultural evidences (Components I, II and III).en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo se presenta por primera vez el estudio del Arte rupestre del Alero Dásovich. El mismo amplía el registro de las representaciones gráficas sobre roca ya conocidas para los valles del río Mayo y de uno de sus tributarios, el Guenguel (sudoeste de la provincia del Chubut, Patagonia argentina). La documentación, a través del relevamiento fotográfico y la descripción de cada motivo, es crucial por el acelerado deterioro de las pinturas que -debido a fenómenos de diferente índole- se acrecienta día a día llegando en algunos casos a la pérdida total. En segunda instancia, y con el objetivo de contribuir a desentrañar la problemática cultural del área, se discute la pertinencia de aplicar al análisis las categorías “identidad” y “microidentidad” (Kottak 2011). El Arte rupestre como parte de la cultura material permite acceder al mundo simbólico-ideológico y distinguir identidades a escalas macro y micro-étnicas (regional y local, respectivamente), así como acercarnos a la identificación de los posibles autores (Apellániz 1980; Apellániz y Amaya 2014). Se explora la viabilidad de recuperar algunos de los significados de las expresiones parietales tomando fuentes aportadas por interlocutores aborígenes y bibliografía arqueológica, histórica y etnográfica. Así también se contextualiza el arte rupestre a otras evidencias culturales (Componentes I, II y III).es-ES
