| dc.description | Este trabajo pretende ser una contribución al conocimiento de las sociedades prehispánicas del Noroeste argentino entre el 1000 d.C. y el 1536 d.C. El objetivo es caracterizar la tecnología lítica entendida como un fenómeno multidimensional sustentado en las relaciones sociales. Para ello no sólo se analizarán la variabilidad morfológica, las tendencias tecnológicas y el aprovechamiento de las materias primas, sino también los saberes y preferencias involucrados en ellas. De esta manera, el estudio de las materias primas, técnicas, trabajo, instrumentos y conocimiento permite comprender que las herramientas líticas son productos sociales y están inmersos en una densa trama de significados. | |
| dc.description | This work tries to be a contribution to the knowledge of the Prehispanic societies of the Argentine Northwest between the 1000 a.C. and the 1536 a.C. The aim is to characterize the lithic technology considered like a multidimensional phenomenon sustained in social relations. Not only it will be analyzed the morphologic variability, the technological tendencies and the use of raw materials but also, the expertise and preferences being involved. In this way, the study of the raw materials, techniques, labor, tools and know-how, allows understanding lithic tools as social products immersed in a dense plot of meanings. | |
