| dc.description | El presente trabajo aborda el tema de la producción del espacio durante el período de desarrollos regionales en el valle de Santa María o de Yocavil, en el noroeste argentino. Se plantean consideraciones acerca del modo en que pueden reconocerse en el paisaje testimonios de diversas prácticas espaciales y se analizan las ideas existentes en torno a la organización territorial de las poblaciones tardías en el área de estudio. Este marco interpretativo es articulado con datos empíricos sobre asentamiento recientemente obtenidos, que, sumados al registro acumulado hasta el momento para la porción sudoccidental del valle, permiten generar una jerarquía de tipos de instalaciones. La propuesta se basa en aspectos funcionales y demográficos. Finalmente se discute la cuestión del tipo de relaciones económicas sostenidas entre las diferentes poblaciones de los valles calchaquíes, mencionándose aquellas nociones que se consideran de importancia para el debate. | |
| dc.description | This paper approaches the topic of the production of space during the Desarrollos Regionales period in the Santa María or Yocavil Valley in the Argentine Northwest. The way in which the testimonies of diverse spacial practica can be recognized in the landscape is considered, and the existing ideas on the territorial organization of the late populations of the área are analyzed. This interpretative framework is articulated with recently obtained empirical data on settlement. lt has been possible to genérate a hierarchy oftypes offacilities with these data along with the recordaccumulatedsofarforthe southwesternportion ofthe valley. Theproposal is based on fimctional and demographic aspects. Lastly, the issue involving the types of economic relationships between the different populations ofthe CalchaquíValleys is discussed, and the notions which are considered important for the debate are mentioned. | |
