| dc.description | Este trabajo presenta la información de las excavaciones del locus San Julio 2, ubicado en el interior de la estepa del norte de Tierra del Fuego. Se describen y discuten los conjuntos óseo, y de artefactos, así también como las huellas de corte, patrones de trozamiento, y tafonomía. Por último, se evalúa el locus desde la perspectiva de las contribuciones a la historia del contacto, a los estudios de movilidad y subsistencia prehistóricas, y a las investigaciones arqueológicas de sitios similares en otras partes de Pampa y Patagonia. | |
| dc.description | This paper presents information of the excavations at San Julio 2. The site is located in the interior plains of Northern Tierra del Fuego. Included here are description and discussion of the bone and artifact assemblages, as well as the cut marks, butchering patterns, and taphonomy. Finally, the locus is evaluated in terms of the contributions to the history of contact, of prehistoric mobility and subsistence patterns, and to archaeological research of similar sites in other areas of Pampa and Patagonia. | |
