| dc.description | Este trabajo tiene como finalidad comenzar a evaluar cuáles podrían ser algunos de los derivados materiales de la esfera ideacional en la arqueología pampeana. Para ello, se tienen en cuenta teorías antropológicas sobre la religión e indicadores arqueológicos empleados para tratar este tema. Con este objetivo general se recurre al caso particular del sitio Nutria Mansa 1, donde se discute la evidencia allí recuperada en el marco del registro arqueológico regional. Además, a los efectos de intentar acotar las diversas posibilidades de interpretación del pasado, se exploran fuentes etnográficas de Pampa y Patagonia. Las evidencias y los argumentos discutidos en este artículo muestran que objetos con variables connotaciones simbólicas estuvieron presentes en la vida cotidiana de los cazadores-recolectores pampeanos. Esto permite concluir que, al mismo tiempo que estas sociedades explotaban el ambiente para la subsistencia y la producción tecnológica, estaban interactuando diferentes factores ideológicos que tuvieron derivados materiales detectables en el registro arqueológico. | |
| dc.description | This paper has the purpose of beginning to evaluate which could be some of the material correlates of the ideational sphere in Pampean archaeology. For that reason, anthropological theories of religion and archaeological data used to treat this subject were considered. With this general objective, the evidence recovered at a particular archeological site -Nutria Mansa 1- is discussed within the framework of the regional archaeologicaL record. In addition, an attempt to reduce the diverse possibilities of interpretations of the past, ethnographic sources from Pampa and Patagonia regions are explored. The evidences and arguments discussed in this article show that objects with variable symbolic connotations were present in Pampean hunter-gatherers daily life. This allows concluding that, at lhe same time these societies exploited the environment for subsistence and technological production, difierent ideological factors were interacting and that they had detectable material consequences in the archaeological record. | |
