| dc.description | Se aborda el estudio de un conjunto de sitios arqueológicos del valle de Hualfín (Catamarca), correspondientes al Período de Desarrollos Regionales/Inka (1000-1536). Considerando al espacio como un objeto construido social y políticamente (Smith 2003), se definen tres dimensiones prácticas: el espacio físico, el espacio percibido y el espacio imaginario. A nivel operativo, desde una dimensión espacial del paisaje consideramos aspectos tales como el tipo de emplazamiento, la topografía de los sitios, la cantidad y distribución de los recintos, su comunicación con el exterior y con otros recintos; desde una dimensión temporal adscribimos cronologías relativas y absolutas; y desde una dimensión social interpretamos los materiales exhumados. Se analizan comparativamente los sitios para avanzar en la comprensión de las relaciones intrarregionales entre las poblaciones que habitaron el área en el período y sugerimos hipótesis en las que se consideran distintos tipos de conflictos, referidas a los momentos de ocupación de los sitios. | |
| dc.description | This studies a series of archaeological sites in the Hualfín Valley (Catamarca) that dates to the Regional Developments/Inka Periods (1000-1536). In considering space as a socially and politically constructed object (Smith 2003), we define three practical dimensions: physical space, perceived space and imagined space. At the operative level, from a spatial dimension of landscape we consider aspects such as the type of emplacement, the topography of the sites, the quantity and distribution of enclosures, their communication with the outside and with other enclosures; from a temporal dimension we consider relative and absolute chronologies, whilst from a social dimension we interpret the materials uncovered. We will comparatively analyze the sites so as to advance our understanding of the interregional relationships between the populations that inhabited the area during this period, we suggest hypothesis in which we consider different types of conflicts linked to the episodes of occupation of the sites. | |
