dc.descriptionThe work is part of the studies on indigenous populations of the Pampean area affected by the enocidal policies of the Argentine State during the 1870s and 1880s. In this regard, we seek to provide records on the socio-economic trajectories of the groups settled in the south of the province of Córdoba in order to reflect on the way in which the condition of “submitted” was articulated with that of “subaltern”. To this end, we qualitatively and quantitatively address the baptism, marriage and death annotations (1870-1900) of the Río Cuarto region, the records of the Second Census of the Argentine Republic (1895) as well as edited sources and contemporary accounts of indigenous descendants.en-US
dc.descriptionEl trabajo se inscribe en los estudios sobre poblaciones indígenas del área pampeana afectadas por las políticas genocidas del Estado argentino durante las décadas de 1870 y 1880. Al respecto, buscamos aportar registros sobre las trayectorias socio-conómicas de los grupos instalados en el sur de la provincia de Córdoba con el fin de reflexionar sobre el modo en que la condición de “sometido” se articuló con la de “subalterno”. Para tal fin abordamos cualitativa y cuantitativamente las anotaciones de bautismo, matrimonio y defunción (1870-1900) de la región del Río Cuarto, las cartillas del Segundo Censo de la República Argentina (1895) como también fuentes éditas y relatos contemporáneos de descendientes de indígenas. es-ES
