dc.descriptionThe use of new Information Technologies and Communication to promote sharing, participation indiscussions, and collaboration is already common practice in research teams. Our goal is to explorehow the strategic use of digital environments to share inputs and produce knowledge manifests itselfin a case study: the network of researchers who created the database Registros Estatales de Población Indígena de Pampas y Patagonia del siglo XIX (REPIPP). We analyze the forms of conviviality and material support that were required both for the design and implementation of the project and for the communication of its results. We evaluate the characteristics of the case presented in relation to otherpossible articulations and, on this basis, try to contribute to the studies of academic practices from anetwork approach.en-US

dc.descriptionEl empleo de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y comunicación para favorecer los intercambios, participar en discusiones y realizar colaboraciones es ya una práctica habitual en los equipos de investigación. Nuestro propósito es explorar cómo se manifiesta el uso estratégico de entornos digitales para compartir insumos y producir conocimiento en un estudio de caso: la red de investigadores que elaboró la base de datos Registros Estatales de Población Indígena de Pampas y Patagonia del siglo XIX (REPIPP). Se analizan las formas de sociabilidad y los soportes materiales requeridos tanto en el diseño y ejecución del proyecto como en la comunicación de sus resultados. Evaluamos las características del caso presentado en relación con otras articulaciones posibles y, a partir de ello, buscamos aportar a los estudios de las prácticas académicas desde un enfoque de redes.es-ES
