dc.descriptionEl artículo describe y analiza tres procesos de patrimonialización en torno a elementos pertenecientes al legado minero e industrial: el Museo de la Mina de Blanzy, en Francia; el Parque Minero de Riotinto, en España; y la Catedral de Sal de Zipaquirá, en Colombia. Mediante estos casos se accede a parte de las motivaciones y las formas que están adquiriendo estos procesos de producción patrimonial. Es decir, el camino que cada uno de esos conjuntos de bienes transitó, desde su identificación hasta su exhibición, para constituirse en elementos con un valor simbólico añadido reconocido –o no– institucionalmente. Los casos que se exponen demuestran así la relevancia del contexto y los distintos agentes, acciones, sinergias y conflictos que conforman una activación patrimonial, así como las funciones que actualmente está cumpliendo este tipo de patrimonio.
dc.descriptionThis article describes and analyzes heritagization processes in relation to the industrial and mining legacy in three cases: the Museum Mine Blanzy in France; the Rio Tinto Mining Park, Spain; and the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, Colombia. These three cases reveal the motivations and shape of such processes of heritage production; that is, the path each has followed from discovery to display, eventually acquiring additional symbolic value, whether institutionally recognized or not. These cases demonstrate the relevance of context and the configuration of actors, actions, synergies, and conflicts that shape heritage activation plans. The cases also illustrate the functions currently performed by this form of heritage.
