dc.descriptionEste estudio reflexiona sobre el rol de la vivienda en la historia andina. Se analiza la persistencia de percepciones espaciales a través del estudio del registro arqueológico y el ceremonial asociado a la construcción de una vivienda en el altiplano de Arica. Se describen y comparan las evidencias respecto del uso del espacio entre sitios arqueológicos y comunidades actuales de la región de Arica y Parinacota (Chile) con el propósito de obtener luces sobre el rol social que la vivienda ha cumplido a lo largo de la historia.
dc.descriptionThis study reflects on the role of Andean housing. We analyze the persistent spacial perception through a study of the archaeological record and the ceremonial association of the construction of housing in the highlands of Arica. We described and compared the evidence regarding the use of space between archaeological sites and current communities of Arica and the Parinacota region, Chile. The purpose was to shed light onto the social role that housing had played during history.
