| dc.description | A partir del trabajo de campo llevado a cabo con hinchas del Club Atlético Aldosivi de Mar del Plata se propone un análisis de sus lógicas de comportamiento. Al tomar al ritual de los viajes de la hinchada como una instancia clave, tanto desde lo etnográfico como desde lo conceptual, se pretende dar cuenta de las representaciones que los hinchas de fútbol ponen en juego en una lucha diaria por definir su propia identidad. En efecto, para las hinchadas de los equipos del fútbol argentino, los viajes en los partidos de visitante constituyen verdaderos rituales de institución identitaria que les permiten renovar el contrato pasional con su equipo. En estos viajes se forma una atmósfera festiva comunitaria de consumos (alcohol y drogas) y estados de ánimo en la que los hinchas adquieren a la sensación de pertenecer a un universo exclusivo de una pasión y aguante diferentes. Quienes por primera vez lo experimentan, se sienten de un modo diverso, más hinchas que los demás, que no están dispuestos a viajar y que, por ende, no son verdaderos hinchas. Porque “ir de visitante”, se juegue donde se juegue, aguantándosela, es uno de los puntos centrales del honor masculino de los hinchas. Como instancias creadoras de liminalidad, estos ritos implican a la vez un pasaje y una institución identitaria. | |
| dc.description | This paper presents an analysis of the logic of the behavior of football supporters of Club Atlético Aldosivi based on fieldwork carried out among them. The ritual of travel of the hinchada (fan base) appears as a key ethnographic and theoretical resource in explaining the representations that football supporters put in play in their daily struggle to define their own identity. Argentinean hinchadas (fans) construct, in the routine of their journeys to away games, rites of institution that permit them to renew the passionate contract with their beloved team. In these travels, they form a festive atmosphere in which the consumption of substances such as marihuana and alcohol guide them to a sense of belonging to an exclusive universe ruled by different passions and aguantes. Those who experience these rituals consider themselves to be true hinchas, compared to the others who are not able to follow the team everywhere. This is a crucial point because to be part of the visiting team “wherever the team may play, enduring all” (se juegue donde se juegue, aguantándosela) is one of the central points of the masculine honor of the fans. As liminal situations, these rites constitute both a passage and an identificatory institution. | |
