| dc.description | Los Agustinos arriban a principios del siglo XX al oriente del Perú con el objetivo de llevar a cabo una revitalización de las misiones. Con el correr del tiempo tuvieron que “girar” lo mandatado por el Vaticano, hacia una pastoral educativa en el seno de la ciudad de Iquitos, Perú, y no una fluvial como previamente estaba previsto.
