| dc.description | En este trabajo presentamos una sinopsis de las investigaciones realizadas en nuestro país en arqueología subacuática, junto con una reseña de los antecedentes de esta especialidad y el afianzamiento de la misma dentro del ámbito científico. Abordaremos los proyectos de investigación desarrollados, fundamentalmente en sitios de momentos históricos, por parte delPrograma de Arqueología Subacuática del Instituto Nacional de Antropología y Pensamiento Latinoamericano y del Área de Arqueología Subacuática de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario. Finalmente, repasaremos algunas cuestiones teóricas y metodológicas de las investigaciones, y diversos aspectos relacionados con la protección del patrimonio cultural sumergido. | es-ES |
| dc.description | In this paper we present a synopsis of the investigations made in our country in underwater archaeology, in addition to a review of the background of the topic and its increasing scientific recognition. We shall address the ongoing research projects, mainly on historical sites, by the Underwater Archaeology Program of the National Institute of Anthropology and by theUnderwater Archaeology Area of the National University of Rosario.
