| dc.description | Se presentan los avances preliminares del análisis de palas y/o azadas líticas del sitio arqueológico Antumpa. Antumpa se ubica en la confluencia de los ríos Grande y Chaupi Rodeo. Es un sitio multicomponente de una larga secuencia ocupacional que llega hasta nuestros días, aunque se caracteriza por presentar un componente Agroalfarero Temprano significativo (González, 1977), en cuyo conjunto artefactual destacan las palas y/o azadas líticas. Este tipo de artefactos son los más ubicuos en el sitio, hallándose tanto en superficie como en estratigrafía, y en casi toda la secuencia de historia de vida de los mismos. Para el estudio de las palas y /o azadas, se procedió a analizar los aspectos de la manufactura siguiendo los lineamientos propuestos por Pérez (2007) y rastros de uso (Ávalos, 1998; Gastaldi, 2001), intentándose de esta manera aproximar a las posibles funcionalidades de estos instrumentos líticos. | |
| dc.description | This paper presents the preliminary advancements of the analysis of the lithic spades and/or hoes of the archaeological site Antumpa. Antumpa is located at the confluence of the Grande and Chaupi Rodeo rivers. It’s a multicomponent site with a long settlement sequence which extends up to the present, although it is characterized by a significant Early Agricultural Ceramic period (Gonzáles, 1977). Among its artifacts, lithic spades and/or hoes stand out. This kind of artifacts is the most ubiquitous of the site. It can be found both on the surface and on the strata, and in almost the entire sequence of their life history. For the study of the spades and/or hoes, an analysis of the aspects of the manufacturing process following the guidelines proposed by Pérez (2007) and signs of use (Ávalos, 1998; Gastaldi, 2001) was made, all this in order to understand the possible functions of these lithic instruments. | |
