dc.descriptionThis paper’s goal is to present the possibilities and potential of highlighting the value of the archaeological site La Pampa, since it is an important factor in the development of sustainable heritage in the Uco Valley. In this regard, the objective of this article is to document the local social and economic resources (the use of recreational tourism, the use of pre-existing tourist routes, the human and material capital, and the participation of public institutions and private companies). This article also addresses the possibilities for enhancing the site’s value so it can become a vehicle for socio-economic development, focusing on the use of the site as a public space, recovering its local meaning, and highlighting its social, cultural, and economic potential. By observing the qualities of both the socio-cultural and economic context and the characteristics of the La Pampa site, it is concluded that these patrimonial assets could become a dynamic factor in local development. Once its value as a heritage resource is clear, it could create sustainable cultural heritage in the community where it is located.en-US
dc.descriptionEste trabajo se propone plantear las posibilidades y el potencial de la puesta en valor del sitio arqueológico La Pampa como factor de desarrollo del patrimonio sustentable en el Valle de Uco. A partir de esto, el objetivo es observar los recursos sociales y económicos del contexto local (el uso del turismo recreacional, el aprovechamiento de circuitos preexistentes, el capital humano y material, y la participación de instituciones públicas y empresas privadas) y sus posibilidades para que su puesta en valor se convierta en un vehículo del desarrollo socioeconómico, enfocándonos en el uso del sitio como espacio público, recuperando su significado local y resaltando sus potencialidades sociales, culturales y económicas. Al observar las cualidades del contexto sociocultural y económico y las características del sitio La Pampa se concluye que estos bienes patrimoniales pueden convertirse en un factor dinamizador del desarrollo local, entendiendo su valorización como un recurso que operaría como patrimonio sustentable en las comunidades donde se encuentra.es-ES
