| dc.description | During the year 2007 the need began to gestate for that the Museum of Anthropology should once again have a periodic publication showing local production and a at the same time invite dialogue with colleagues from other institutions national and international. For this reason, several of the investigators began to have meetings with the purpose of of this longing. While this was happening in Cordoba one of those who was spearheading this idea of having a new body responsible for disseminating research results attended a round table of editors and editors carried out during the National Congressof Archaeology carried out in San Salvador de Jujuy. There it was possible to have a close contact with the reality of the magazines that were working at the time, which were very dissimilar although some were very clear where they were headed: open access, indexing in international systems and to the maintenance of some basic criteria that would allow the recovery of the articles in modern systems (comply with clear guidelines of periodicity, ethics in the editorial process, city of editorial quality, among others). In other words, a model that sought excellence in both form and function content. With this in mind we started looking for ways to finance this adventure while also seeking to advice from CAICyT staff for the purposes of start with everything you need to be able to take the new magazine at the level of those who were our referents. | en-US |
| dc.description | Durante el año 2007 se comenzó a gestar la necesidad de que el Museo de Antropología tuviera nuevamente una publicación periódica que mostrara la producción local y a la vez invitara al dialogo con colegas de otras instituciones nacionales e internacionales. Por ello varios de los investigadores comenzamos a tener reuniones con el fin de con este anhelo. Mientras esto sucedía en Córdoba uno de quienes encabezaba esta idea de volver a tener un órgano de difusión de los resultados de las investigaciones antropológicas asistió a una mesa redonda de editores científicos llevada a cabo durante el Congreso Nacional de Arqueología llevado a cabo en San Salvador de Jujuy. Allí se pudo tener un contacto cercano con la realidad de las revistas que funcionaban en ese momento, las cuales eran muy disimiles aunque algunas tenían muy en claro hacia donde se dirigían: al acceso abierto, a la indización en sistemas internacionales y al mantenimiento de algunos criterios básicos que permitieran la recuperación de los artículos en sistemas modernos (cumplir con pautas claras de periodicidad, ética en el proceso editorial, cuidad de la calidad editorial, entre otros). Es decir un modelo que buscaba la excelencia tanto en las formas como en el contenido. Teniendo esto en mente comenzamos a buscar modos de financiar esta aventura a la vez que buscamos asesoramiento del personal del CAICyT a los fines de comenzar con todo lo necesario para poder llevar a la nueva revista al nivel de las que eran nuestros referentes. | es-ES |
